Pastor: Loving God, we come here as Your servants and seek to please You with our praise.

People: May Your sacred words inspire us and Your Holy Spirit embrace us.

Pastor:  You are worthy of our devotion, O Lord, therefore we worship and glorify Your Name. Amen.

Prayers of Adoration and Confession

Guide: Almighty Lord of the Universe, we humbly gather in Your Holy House and joyfully seek to praise Your Name. We want to serve You with our entire lives and praise You always from our hearts. You have always been true to us and we are thankful for Your gracious love.

People: Merciful God, we confess that we have failed to keep Your commands and sometimes struggle with our faith. We allow sinful and selfish ways to spoil our relationship with You. We break our promises and disappoint others. We neglect to do good deeds for those in need. We impair our Christian witness with our pride and prejudices. Forgive and hear us now as we inwardly confess our personal mistakes to You alone.

Guide: Heavenly Lord, cleanse us with Christ’s Living water. Let the streams of His salvation wash our unclean souls.

Heavenly Father, forgive our sins through the divine mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ. We cleave to Him as our King and we pray His own holy words, saying: “Our Father...THE LORD'S PRAYER” (debts/debtors). 

Promise of the Gospel

Guide: Jesus sets us free from the eternal consequences of our sins. He restores to God’s everlasting love and favor. In Christ, we are liberated from sin and united to Him, both now and forevermore. Amen.

Prayers for Health & Healing

Pastor:                  Be merciful to us, O God, when our problems and worries burden us.  Each week, we experience different pressures, so when we are anxious, help us to fully trust You. Allay our fears and grant us peace of mind. We humbly place our lives, our loved ones, our issues and concerns into Your healing hands.

People:                 As servants of Your Kingdom, we humbly ask that You will heal us, and all whom we pray for, from everything that harms us in body, mind, heart, and spirit. Deliver us from despair and keep us from being fearful or frustrated. Hear us now as we personally pray.

Silent Prayers for ourselves and others. A candle is lit.

Pastor:                  May we confidently walk before the Lord in the light of His life and love. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

Guide:  Lord of the universe and Sustainer of our lives, we humbly offer You our worship and adoration. Your mighty works are all around us. Your power and glory are revealed throughout our world, so we gather to praise Your Name.

People: Loving Father, we know that our selfish and stubborn ways offend and disappoint You. We are also sorry for our sinful choices and foolish decisions which disrespect and dishonor You. We seek Your pardon for the sins we have committed, as well as Your forgiveness for the good deeds we have left undone. Hear us now as we personally pray.

Pastor:  The LORD is our shepherd, therefore He knows all of our needs. He makes us rest in His presence and can grant us peace in the midst of our troubles. He can heal our wounded souls and guide us through our deepest fears.

People: Loving God, support us through all that troubles us and be with us during times of anxiety and uncertainty. Keep us from being confused or afraid. Allow Your gracious power to restore us, as well as our loved ones, to health and strength. Hear us now as we silently pray.

Guide: Lord of Heaven and Earth, of all that is seen and unseen, we bring to You our joyful praise and personal prayers. You are the God of grace and glory, therefore we lift up Your sacred Name and delight in Your holy ways.

People: Merciful Father, You teach us right from wrong, and offer to guide our decisions and correct our choices. We confess to ignoring Your counsel and going against our faith. We are guilty of being selfish and proud, foolish and vain, as well as sinful and wayward.  Hear us now as we personally ask forgiveness from You.

Guide: Everlasting God, encourage us to reconsider our ways and help us to reshape our lives according to Christ's teaching, for Jesus is our Holy Savior and only through Him can we be pardoned, reconciled, and restored forevermore. People:                 We rejoice in Your ways, O God, and are refreshed by Your love. We reach out for strength and ask for support. We pray that You will heal us from all that harms us in body, mind, heart, and soul. Hear us now as we ask for healing for ourselves, our loved ones, and all whom we know in need of Your love and grace.

Guide:                  Almighty Lord, You have called us from our homes to draw near to You in this sacred place of praise and prayer. You have blessed us with Your love and have sustained our lives. As we worship today, may we please You with our songs, prayers, and devotion.

People:                 Gracious God, You offer us guidance each day and a purpose for our lives. Your words and ways are mean to direct and encourage us. Sometimes, Lord, we are guilty of taking You for granted. We neglect to give You honor for our successes and are quick to complain to You about our troubles. The good that You want us to do is left undone; the bad things that You want us to avoid are sometimes sinfully embraced by us. Forgive our foolish ways and constant sins. Hear us as we make our personal confessions to You.

People:                 Gracious God, thank You for watching over us each day and night. You know our worries and concerns, as well as our anxieties and disappointments. We are frail and human, constantly in need of Your reassurance, encouragement, and embrace. As we bring our personal prayers before You, heal us and all our loved ones this day.

People:                Merciful Father, we are sorry for our constant mistakes, selfish ways, and daily sins. Pastor:                 O Loving God, You know the problems and pain that we experience in our lives. Sometimes we get weary and feel as though we are isolated and vulnerable, uncared for and forgotten. We look to You for compassion and help, as well as strength and healing. Send forth Your Spirit among us today and grant us Your lovingkindness.

People:                 Gracious God, lighten our burdens and save us from despair. When our hope diminishes, heal our hurts. When we are affected by fear, restore our faith. Help us to trust in Your unfailing love, so that we may rejoice in Your salvation. Be near to our loved ones and heal them from all that harms them physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Guide:                  Almighty Creator, we come to Your sacred house to praise You with our words and to pray to You from our hearts. We hope to devote our lives to Your work on Earth and pledge our faith in Your Son, Jesus Christ.

People:                Gracious God, we know that we are imperfect and often make mistakes. We are sorry for neglecting Your teaching and setting aside Your ways. We sometimes make faithless choices and allow our pride to damage our Christian witness. Forgive us for being foolish and arrogant, as well as self-centered and sinful. Guide:                  Almighty God, we gather together in Your Holy house to celebrate the beginning of a New Year. We thank You for sustaining our lives and granting us the constant blessings of Your love, mercy, and grace. Be near to us each day and enable us to serve You faithfully throughout this year.

People:                Gracious Father, we are sometimes fearful of the future and worry about things that have yet to occur. When our faith is weak or challenged, be our strength and guide. Promise of the Gospel

Guide:                  Jesus invites us to come to Him, to receive the blessings of grace, so we can be reclaimed for the kingdom of God. By His invitation, we can be with Him eternally. Through His everlasting mercy, we can come into the holy presence of God. So let us gladly rejoice and be truly thankful that Christ is our Lord and immortal King. Amen.

Pastor:                 Heavenly Father, You know the burdens we carry in our hearts and the worries that trouble our minds. We pray for Your peace to settle our spirits and calm our souls. We pray for strength and healing to overcome the brokenness in our lives. We ask for mercy and grace to allow us the opportunity to begin again.

People:                 Gracious God, we also pray for our families and friends. You know that some of them are troubled or ill, in need of guidance and longing for help. Bless them with Your power and love. Permit them renewal and restoration, healing and strength. Hear us now as we silently pray in our hearts for Your help.

Guide:                  Loving Creator, whose mighty deeds have blessed Your people, and whose sacred power sustains our lives; we humbly gather in Your presence to joyfully praise Your Holy Name. Pastor:                 King of all the nations, we come to You for healing and ask that You hear our prayers. In Your sacred presence, we pray that You will anoint us with Your Holy Spirit. Help us to cast off our worries and set aside our anxieties. Smile upon us and bless us with Your comfort; favor us with Your grace and mercy.

People:                 Loving Lord, heal the sicknesses in our hearts and minds, as well as the injuries of our bodies and souls. Install Your holiness within us and all our loved ones. Grant us recovery and remission, strength and sustenance; health and healing. Hear us now as we silently pray.
