Pastor: Let us proclaim the decrees of the Lord; let us rejoice in being called His children.
People: We will gladly serve the Lord and celebrate His presence among us.
Pastor: May we be blessed for taking refuge in the Lord; may we worship and glorify His everlasting Name. Amen.

Prayers of Confession

Guide: Lord of All Wisdom and Creator of Time, we come before You as a people of faith. We seek to delight You with our prayers and praises.
People: Amazing and All Powerful God, You are the sure foundation of our lives and the source of our well being. We willingly give our hearts to You; we freely want to serve You.

Guide: Gracious King, we know that we have done acts that disappoint You; we have said words that disrespect You; we have made decisions that dishonor You.
People: Loving Father, we are guilty of so many sins, too numerous for us to recount and remember. Forgive us for those sinful deeds we have forgotten, and for all those selfish mistakes that we still commit. Hear us now as we make our confessions.

- SILENCE -

Guide: Most Merciful God, Your Son Jesus Christ is the key to our forgiveness and restoration. He is the One who saves us from our selfish past and present mistakes. His authority removes our sins and redeems for Your Kingdom.
People: In Christ alone, our sins are deleted and our souls refreshed. Through His Name and in His words, we make these prayers, saying “Our Father... (THE LORD'S PRAYER” debts/debtors) (Isaiah 33:6)

Promise of the Gospel

Guide: When we acknowledge Christ as our Savior and confess our sins to Him, we are liberated from our fears of God’s punishment and restored to His favor. Christ alone has the power to decide our ultimate destiny, so let us rejoice in His abiding mercy and abundant grace. Amen. (John 9:22)

Leader: O LORD, why does trouble come to us and why do good people suffer?
People: We remember Your deeds of deliverance and Your ways of salvation. Come to us and heal us.
Leader: Turn towards us, O Living God, and take away our fears by strengthening our faith.
People: O God, You have helped our people across many generations. Come to us now, in this holy place. Touch us with Your Presence. Heal us by Your Love.
Leader: Do not forget those whom we cherish and love, Almighty Lord. Heal them of all that harms them in body, mind, soul and spirit.
People: Do not let our loved ones give into to despair. Fill them with peace and hope, strength and health, restoration and power.

People: We will delight in the Lord and focus on being faithful to Him throughout this holy time.

Prayers of Confession
Guide: Exalted and Almighty God, we have come into Your house to acknowledge Your authority over our lives and to proclaim You as the Ruler of the universe.
People: Immortal and Everlasting Lord, You fill our hearts with strength and love; You sustain our lives with mercy and grace.

Guide: Heavenly Father, we know that we are imperfect and our souls are tarnished because of spiteful sins, selfish deeds, and mistaken choices.
People: Merciful God, we have displeased You with dishonorable deeds and wicked words. We have followed our own ways and forgotten Your commands. We are guilty of being faithless servants and sinful followers. To You alone, we bring our silent confessions.

Guide: We have no need to be afraid of God’s eternal wrath because Jesus redeems us with His life and restores us through His grace. When we acknowledge Christ as our Savior and King, our souls are cleansed and reconnected to God, both now and forevermore. Amen. (John 9:21)

Confessional Prayer
Guide: All Powerful LORD, as we come into Your Holy Presence with our praises and prayers, we know that You are beyond all that we can imagine, beyond all that we can ever know on earth.
People: Most Glorious Majesty and Eternal God, Your Kingdom is limitless and Your Sovereignty over the universe is absolute, complete and perfect.

Guide: Heavenly Father, we recognize that we are sinful creatures who fall into temptation, allowing ourselves to be consumed by our own ambitions, wants and greed.
People: Gracious Lord, when we diminish our faith by feeding our desires, when we strike out against You by rejecting Your words, when we allow hate and bitterness, ignorance and indifference to blemish our souls and kill our Christian beliefs, forgive us and pardon us, redeem us and restore us to Your favor.

Guide: Loving God, by the blood of Your Son, You spare us from eternal punishment and everlasting wrath. By His wounds, we are cleansed. By His grace, we are forgiven.
People: Almighty Lord, we thank You for Jesus, our Healer, Savior and Restorer of our souls. In His Name, we make these prayers and unite our spirits through the saying of His Holy words, “Our Father, etc.” (Isaiah 27v7)

Promise of the Gospel
Guide: Jesus spent His life on earth fulfilling His purpose of completely obeying God's will. He sacrificed Himself for us, so that we may be totally forgiven by God and eternally restored to His favor. So let us rejoice and be glad, for Christ our Savior has cleansed our sinful souls both now and always. Amen. (John 7: 10)

Guide: Lord God of hosts and Ancient of Days, we gather in Your holy place to proclaim Your Name above all names; to worship You as the God of all creation.
People: Almighty Father and Everlasting King, our lives are sustained by Your words of grace; our days are continued through Your sacred power.

Guide: Merciful God, sometimes we take You for granted and even try to set You aside. We plunder life to sustain our pride and desires, our longings and wants. We waste our resources and time on trivial pursuits and unholy matters.

Guide: All Powerful and Eternally Mighty God, whose voice roars throughout creation and whose words sustain all life, we glorify You as our King and Majesty, the Ruler of all Creation.
